This SentTell Scholarship was established in honor of Jeff McNair, a role-model and father figure to SentTell founder Walter Wallace who is extremely active in the Christian church and helped others in need. Students who are seen as role models/leaders and can show proof of service in their church (at least 20 hours) are encouraged to apply.

David Tsegga Scholarship
This SentTell Scholarship was established in honor of David Tsegga, a microbiologist who exhibits how a strong work ethic can lead to success. Students who are looking to pursue a career in the sciences are encouraged to apply.
G. HAROLD DUFFEY Scholarship
This SentTell Scholarship was established in honor of Harold Duffey, a role-model and father figure to SentTell founder Walter Wallace. Harold was the most influential person in Walter's life and still acts as a mentor to Walter. Exceptional academic achievers are encouraged to apply.
DARNELL HAMMOCK Scholarship
This SentTell Scholarship was established in honor of Darnell Hammock, Pastor of New Life Community Church. Darnell is extremely active in the Christian church and in the Oakland community with an emphasis on social justice. Students who are seen as role models/leaders and can show proof of service in their church (at least 20 hours) are encouraged to apply.
Jack P. Broadbent Scholarship
This SentTell Scholarship was established in honor of Jack P. Broadbent, the Chief Executive Officer at the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. Students who are looking to pursue a career in environmentalism are encouraged to apply.
Washington Burns Scholarship
This SentTell Scholarship was established in honor of Washington Burns, Executive Director of the Prescott-Joseph Center for Community Enhancement, Inc. The Prescott-Joseph Center offers art and culture, health care and wellness, child and youth development, and family support services to the West Oakland community. Through the Prescott-Joseph Center, Dr. Burns promotes the individual self-esteem of citizens in the community through education, skill training and cultural programs; thus supporting healthy families and economic self-sufficiency.
Alex Flores Scholarship
This SentTell Scholarship was established in honor of Alex Flores, renowned Hollywood editor at AV Squad. Alex, a Redlands East Valley High School alumni graciously donated $1,000 to help a first-generation college bound student who is pursuing a career in filmmaking.
Tim Howard Scholarship
This SentTell Scholarship was established in honor of Timothy Howard, a motivational speaker and professor at CSU Sacramento who encourages others to reach their goals and inspired SentTell founder Walter Wallace to go into the Communications field.
