The G. Harlold Duffey SentTell Scholarship (2017)
Area of focus: Education
This SentTell Scholarship was established in honor of Harold Duffey, a role-model and father figure to SentTell founder Walter Wallace. Harold was the most influential person in Walter's life and still acts as a mentor to Walter. Exceptional academic achievers are encouraged to apply.
Application Criteria
- Must be a current member (in good standing) in the AVID program for at least one full year
- Must have taken at least one Advanced Placement (AP) course
- Must attend a four-year accredited university upon high school graduation
- Must be a prospective first-generation college student
- Must complete the REV Scholarship Packet with attached essay

How will this scholarship help in your journey navigating college? What influences or experience have contributed to this decision? Give examples of your strong work ethic and mention what you gained/learned taking AP classes.
